Strong working relationships between clinical research sites and sponsors/CROs are critical to the success of clinical trials. However, the relationship between sponsors and sites has historically been strained due to a consistent struggle to effectively communicate. With mutually-beneficial processes in place, sites and sponsors can stave off severe delays in study activation and budgeting, and eliminate miscommunication. We created the eBook, “Improving Site-Sponsor Relationships: Proactive Strategies for Transparent Clinical Trials” to share our ideas on how to improve site-sponsor communication.

The content of this eBook comes from the two-hour master workshop, “Sites and Sponsors: Working Together to Define and Achieve Common Goals” sponsored and hosted by Forte Research Systems on October 14, 2016 at the 2016 Global Site Solutions Summit™ in Boca Raton, Florida. The group of workshop attendees was comprised of about 50% representatives from sites and 50% from sponsors and CROs. The diversity of the group made for insightful discussion on what sites want sponsors to know about their pain points and vice versa.

Workshop presenter, Jon Ward, CEO of Aspen Clinical Research said, “My biggest takeaway is that communication is something that must start early on, or it will become increasingly difficult to resolve potential issues that arise throughout the study, relationship and future opportunities. As none of us want to feel as though the other side does not care, we always need to be respectful and professional, even when frustrations and emotions run high.”

In this eBook, we share our most practical takeaways from the workshop. The eBook captures both site and sponsor voices, and outlines actionable techniques to address common challenges encountered when working together to encourage mutual support and improve efficiencies.

This eBook provides:

  • Techniques to more accurately predict patient enrollment
  • Practical changes to implement to make the feasibility process more useful
  • Communication strategies to align expectations and identify deal breakers upfront
  • Ideas to better understand and assess protocol complexity

Learn how to be proactive on all fronts to set the right expectations and prevent downstream issues and wasted time when executing a trial. Click the link below to download the free eBook.
