It’s finally here! The 2019 Fall Onsemble Conference is underway. Members of the Onsemble Community are gathering this week in our hometown of Madison, Wisconsin to learn industry best practices, connect with their peers and celebrate another great year.
Twice a year, the Onsemble Community meets to share and learn from one another. From operational efficiencies to leveraging technology, the topics covered in the sessions and workshops are extremely valuable, and attendees return to their institutions armed with new ideas and fresh perspectives.
This year’s conference content is no exception. Attendees are able to earn continuing education units (CEUs), including 39 from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP), 29 from the California Board of Nursing and for the first time, 29 from the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA).
As always, sessions cover a wide range of topics including participant recruitment and retention, financial management, regulatory compliance and more. A new topic to the conference this year is the Data-Driven Best Practices focus area. These sessions are presented by members of the community who have exceled in different areas and want to share their keys to success.
In addition to the regular sessions, attendees also have the opportunity to participate in workshops, including Coverage Analysis Certification, OnCore 101, Forte Solutions Overview and a new workshop, Change Control in Validated and Non-Validated Products. Shannon Roznoski, Director of Product Management and MaryAnn Kempker, Computer Software Validation Project Manager will explore change control and share how a risk-based approach helps organizations evaluate change and mitigate risk.
One of the most valuable parts of the Onsemble Conference for many is hearing how other organizations are using their Forte solutions to maximize value and improve clinical research operations. Many of the sessions presented by customers will highlight their use of Forte solutions, including OnCore, Forte EDC and more. During the Product & Plans Keynote, customers will share their organization’s experience implementing and using Forte eReg and Insights as a part of their clinical research landscape.
Tomorrow morning, the day will begin with the keynote address. The keynote will reflect on where we’ve been as a community, and the future we are trying to build together, setting the tone for the rest of the conference as we work together to transform clinical research.
Whether you’re a first-time attendee or a seasoned Onsemble veteran, welcome to Onsemble. We’re glad to have you here!
