Forte is the industry-leading provider of software and services in the critical areas of clinical trial management, clinical data management and research administration for cancer centers, academic medical centers and health systems.

In this role you will work with the customer relationship team and deliver product demonstrations to prospective and existing customers looking to expand their software footprint across their organization. The candidate for this position must be outgoing, customer-oriented and comfortable presenting to all levels of an organization.

Essential Job Duties (in order of priority)

  • Become a software expert in your assigned software application(s)
  • Provide goals-based product demonstrations, showcasing the benefits of Forte software during the sales process, implementation and throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Participate in customer leadership events (i.e. leadership strategic planning, implementation planning, kick-off meetings)
  • Develop an understanding of the research industry
  • Develop an understanding of customer processes and standard operating procedures
  • Be a voice of the customer and liaison with product management to advocate for product development
  • Stay current with application updates and demonstrate product expertise
  • Be an internal resource, lending application and customer workflow expertise to others on the Customer Relationships Team
  • Maintain and update the product demo environments
  • Subject Matter Expert for RFI/RFP responses

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience in the software industry
  • Experience providing product demonstrations for enterprise software applications
  • Experience providing customer support and/or training for enterprise software applications
  • Previous experience within clinical research is preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Must demonstrate the ability to present confidently in front of both live and virtual audiences, including organizational leadership
  • Effective communication skills, including listening, writing, and speaking
  • Ability to quickly grasp prospective customer’s business objectives and align them with the product solution
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into product functionality and design
  • Ability to work independently and integrate into a team environment
  • Proficiency with technology including salesforce, MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
