Media Guidelines for Citing Forte and Its Products and Resources

These guidelines are intended to ensure clarity and consistency around the Forte brand and its products. Please follow these guidelines when referencing Forte and its products in your materials. If you have any questions, please contact Marketing@ForteResearch.com.

Referencing Forte Research Systems®, Inc.

When referring to Forte Research Systems, always use the following description:

Forte Research Systems, Inc. has been developing specialized software for clinical research since 2000. Forte product family includes OnCore Enterprise Research, Allegro CTMS, Overture EDC, and Opus Research Evaluation systems. In 2015, Forte launched a wholly-owned subsidiary, Nimblify Inc., to solve chronic problems and change the industry by connecting key stakeholders such as sponsors, CROs, and research sites. Nimblify solutions include Participant Payments, Benchmarks, Research Insights, and Protocol Calendar Exchange. Forte & Nimblify provide complimentary blog articles, eBooks, webinars and more to support continuous learning on industry topics. With a strong belief in community and standards-based development, Forte also facilitates the Onsemble Community and the Allegro Community.

Citing Forte Research Systems

Always reference “Forte Research Systems®, Inc.” in the first mention. Include the registered trademark symbol after “Forte Research Systems” (not after Inc.) Subsequent mentions may also refer to it as “Forte” or “Forte Research Systems.”

Always link the first mention to the following URL: “http://ForteResearch.com/.” The full name, “Forte Research Systems®, Inc.” should be hyperlinked.

Referring to the Forte Website

When writing out the Forte website, do not include the “www” prior to the URL, as in “www.forteresearch.com.” Acceptable examples are “http://ForteResearch.com” or “ForteResearch.com.” The first letter in Forte and Research should be capitalized in email signatures and other communication where only the main URL (ForteResearch.com) is used.

Using the Forte Logo

The Forte logo should always be represented on all print and electronic communications when the Forte name is referenced. The full color logo should be placed on a white background with, at minimum, a half-inch border around it. Citing OnCore® Enterprise Research

Always reference “OnCore® Enterprise Research” in the first mention. The first O and the C of OnCore should always be capitalized. Include the registered trademark symbol after the word “OnCore” (not after Enterprise Research). Subsequent mentions may also refer to it as, “the OnCore system,” “the OnCore platform” or “OnCore.”

Always link the first mention to the following URL: “http://ForteResearch.com/enterprise-research-oncore/.” The full name, “OnCore Enterprise Research,” should be hyperlinked.

Description Options

  • Comprehensive clinical research management system developed by Forte Research Systems, Inc. for mid-sized to large organizations with complex needs.
  • A comprehensive clinical research management system developed by Forte Research Systems, Inc., OnCore® Enterprise Research supports operations at academic medical centers, cancer centers, and health care systems.

Note: “Clinical research management system” is preferred over “clinical trial management system.”

Referencing Functionality in OnCore Enterprise Research

The six functional areas of OnCore should be referred to as “modules”:

  • OnCore clinical research management module
    Or clinical research management in secondary references. “Functionality” is acceptable to use when referring to a specific type of feature within the clinical research management module. For example, “the financials functionality …” Never abbreviate to “CRM.”
  • OnCore billing compliance module
    Billing compliance should be used when describing the module. Coverage Analysis should be used when specifically referencing the console within the module. “Functionality” is acceptable to use when referring to a specific feature within the billing compliance module. For example, “the version control functionality…”
  • OnCore electronic data capture (EDC) module
    Or electronic data capture in secondary references. Spell out electronic data capture on first reference. “Functionality” is acceptable to use when referring to a specific feature within the electronic data capture module. For example, “the forms designer functionality &hellip” Secondary references can use the “EDC” acronym, however, do not use OnCore-EDC.
  • OnCore biospecimen management module
    Or biospecimen management in secondary references. When referring to a specific feature within biospecimen management, “functionality” is acceptable. (For example, functionality assists with tracking specimens). Never abbreviate to “BSM.”
  • OnCore patient registries module
    Or patient registries management in secondary references. “Functionality” is acceptable to use when referring to a specific feature within the patient registries module. For example, “the forms functionality …”
  • OnCore integrations module
    Interface should be used when specifically referencing an OnCore option (example: standard demographics interface)

Additional Guidelines:

  • The number of OnCore customers should not be mentioned in any materials, as the number is consistently growing and quickly becomes out of date.
  • The OnCore customer map should not be used in any materials, as it quickly becomes out of date.
  • Screenshots of the OnCore system must not be used publicly unless approved by Forte. To request approval, contact Marketing@ForteResearch.com.

The OnCore and Onsemble logos should always be represented on all print and electronic communications. Citing Allegro® CTMS

Always reference “Allegro® CTMS” in the first mention. CTMS should always be in all capitals. Include the registered trademark symbol after the word “Allegro” (not after CTMS). Subsequent mentions may also refer to it as “Allegro” or “the Allegro system.”
